TOMORROW: Former U.S. Comptroller Dave Walker to Hold Final Comeback America Initiative Event
Tomorrow, former U.S. Comptroller General and CRFB Board Member Dave Walker will hold an event at the National Press Club to mark the ending the organization he leads, the Comeback America Initiative, and to release its final capstone report.
Since 2010, the Comeback America Initiative has held hundreds of events around the country seeking to educate Americans about the threat posed by our nation’s growing fiscal imbalances. The organization will cease ongoing operations this week. At the event tomorrow Dave Walker will summarize the organization’s accomplishments, and provide perspective on what this broad public engagement can teach us about how to handle the upcoming fiscal challenges facing policymakers this fall.
