WATCH: Maya MacGuineas Testifies Before Budget Process Committee
Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget president Maya MacGuineas testified before the Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform on Thursday, May 24 at 10:45 a.m. (previously scheduled for 10 a.m.). Read her testimony here.
The hearing, entitled "The Budget Resolution—Content, Timeliness, and Enforcement," discussed how to make the budget resolution a more influential document for guiding the budget and appropriations process. The joint select committee is co-chaired by Representatives Steve Womack (R-AR) and Nita Lowey (D-NY).
