President Donald Trump will give his second State of the Union address tonight at 9 p.m. ET. CRFB will be live tweeting the speech, providing analysis, links to our relevant content, and fact-checks through our Fiscal FactCheck project. The speech will presumably cover many different issues, but we hope the President will address borrowing and the national debt, since the deficit has increased by double digits the last two years. Debt is on an unsustainable path and legislation during the President's first two years has increased borrowing substantially, accounting for about half of this year's deficit.
