Committee Sends Congress a Briefing Book on the Budget

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget recently shared our updated "Briefing Book for a Fiscally Responsible 117^th Congress" with congressional offices. This briefing book provides a wealth of information to help members of Congress understand the federal government's fiscal situation and ways to improve it.

Our graphics-heavy briefing book illustrates the federal government's recent budget history and projections, suggests numerous program and budget process improvements, offers resources for getting the debt under control, highlights the Committee's interactive tools, and includes links to readings and data sources. Using this information, members of Congress and their staff can be more active participants in budget discussions and negotiations.
