The Costs of Current Policies
This morning, we released our review of CBO's Analysis of the President's Budget, which discusses the budget implications of the President's FY 2011 budget proposals in detail, including the new deficit and debt projections and the path of revenues and outlays. However, the CBO did not update its economic assumptions from the January 2010 baseline.

Preliminary Estimate of Reconciliation Act from CBO
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the JCT have completed a preliminary estimate of the "spending and revenue effects of an amendment in the nature of a substitute to H.R. 4872," otherwise known as the Reconciliation Act of 2010. This estimate is still preliminary as CBO still must review the language of the reconciliation proposal and further refine their budgetary projections.

CRFB has updated its comparisons of the costs of the President's proposed policies -- outlined in the President's FY 2011 Budget -- incorporating new revenue estimates from JCT (see our original post on the CBO's preliminary analysis of the President's Budget here).
